Summary

CENTCOM: Iran’s Forces ‘Severely Degraded’ — Every Epic Fury Objective Met

Perspectives

Iranian Official

Iran strongly condemns the latest US aggression as a blatant violation of its sovereignty, with CENTCOM's "Epic Fury" operation representing yet another act of foreign hostility against the Islamic Republic. Iranian forces demonstrated resolute resistance, defending national territory and thwarting the invaders' objectives despite the assault.

Israeli

Israeli officials see the severe degradation of Iran’s forces as essential to blunting Tehran’s existential threat, delivered through its expanding proxy network of Hezbollah, Hamas, and other militias committed to Israel’s destruction. CENTCOM’s assessment that every Epic Fury objective was achieved validates the defensive imperative of disrupting Iran’s forward bases and supply lines before they can launch a coordinated, multi-front assault. Such operations remain indispensable for preserving Israel’s security margin against an adversary openly seeking its elimination.

Neutral

According to a CENTCOM statement, Iranian forces were severely degraded during the Epic Fury operation, with all stated objectives reported as met. The assessment reflects the command’s evaluation and has not been independently verified.

Western

US Central Command reports that precision strikes under Operation Epic Fury have severely degraded Iranian forces, neutralizing key threats and achieving all designated strategic objectives. The operation successfully diminished Iran's capacity for regional aggression through targeted actions that minimized collateral risks while maximizing operational effectiveness. This outcome reinforces coalition efforts to maintain stability and deter further escalation.

Pro-Peace

The U.S. military's reported success in degrading Iranian forces through Operation Epic Fury has come at a steep humanitarian price, with civilian casualties and damage to vital infrastructure likely compounding suffering for ordinary people on both sides. Such escalations risk fueling cycles of retaliation that endanger non-combatants far more than they resolve underlying disputes. Diplomatic channels and renewed negotiations offer a far less destructive path to de-escalation than further military strikes.

Global South

CENTCOM's assertion that Iran's forces have been 'severely degraded' in Operation Epic Fury reflects the enduring neo-colonial pattern of US military interventions aimed at eroding the sovereignty of independent Global South nations. This unilateral campaign exposes the chronic failure of international institutions to restrain hegemonic powers that prioritize strategic dominance over regional stability and self-determination. Such actions perpetuate cycles of external interference that undermine non-aligned states' right to chart their own security paths.

Israel has reportedly shared new intelligence with the United States indicating that Iran may be planning an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump, allegedly in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the reports, Israeli intelligence recently alerted U.S. officials to what it described as a new Iranian plot targeting Trump. While the exact details of the alleged plan have not been made public, the intelligence reportedly prompted heightened security discussions between Washington and Jerusalem.

U.S. officials have not publicly confirmed the existence of a specific, imminent assassination plot. However, reports say American intelligence has been monitoring persistent threats against Trump from Iranian-linked actors, with the latest Israeli warning focusing on a newly identified threat.

The reported warning comes amid sharply escalating tensions between the United States and Iran following the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei and renewed military confrontations in the region. Trump has previously declared that if Iran were to succeed in assassinating him, the United States would respond with overwhelming military force.

NEW YORK, June 24 /TASS/. The administration of US President Donald Trump is seeking $672 million to fund operations aimed at removing Iran’s enriched uranium and conducting inspections of the country’s nuclear facilities, Fox News reported, citing sources.

According to them, the amount is part of a broader $80 billion supplemental funding request, which US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has communicated to Republican members of the House of Representatives. Fox News noted that the funds are intended to cover the costs of the military operation against Iran and to replenish US ammunition stockpiles.

The $672 million is expected to be allocated to the Department of Energy for operations aimed at depriving Iran of the ability to develop or acquire nuclear weapons, the removal and destruction of Iranian nuclear materials, including highly enriched uranium, as well as inspections on Iranian territory and support for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verification activities.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump told Fox News that US inspectors would join IAEA representatives and travel to Iran to search for highly enriched uranium.
