MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. Russia is interested in establishing a lasting peace in Ukraine and not just a temporary ceasefire, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with US television channel NBC News. The negotiations do not imply a ceasefire, Peskov said.

Putin stated that he anticipates upcoming meetings with African leaders. He noted that the primary multilateral program has concluded and that several bilateral contacts have already occurred.
