Trump getting Desperate? The Domino Theory might have been right? Or China will own the EV market?

Summary

STARS AND STRIPES • March 11, 2026 The Pentagon is moving parts of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system from South Korea to the Middle East, according to unnamed officials quoted by The Washington Post that day. The military is also drawing on Patriot interceptors in the Indo-Pacific to counter Iranian drone and missile threats, the officials said in the report. The U.S. was rushing to replace a THAAD radar — critical to shooting down ballistic missiles — that was damaged in an Iranian-backed drone strike in Jordan, according to an unnamed U.S. official quoted March 6 by the Wall Street Journal. https://www.stripes.com/theaters/asia_pacific/2026-03-11/thaad-south-korea-middle-east-iran-21025377.html We would not be moving missiles from South Korea to the Middle East unless we were desperate South Korea only has an armistice with North Korea they are still technically at war. The $300 million THADD radar is going to Jordan to replace the one that was destroyed by Iran. No word if Israel or the Middle East will get the Patriot missiles moved from South Korea. I assume THADD missiles are being sent to the Middle East and or Israel. However Trump’s quietness on who will get the missiles however suggests Israel will get all the missiles making that news public would piss off the Middle East so Trump is being quiet, Amateur Hour Public Relations tactics obvious. Because if the Middle East were to get some missiles Trump would tell them, that would be good news and he desperately needs some right now. I expect Japan and NATO will be next to see their THADD and Patriot missiles removed. North Korea of course welcomed the news and reminded South Korea they only have an Armistice, war could begin any second. But I suspect North Korea will wait until the US completely stops firing THADD and Patriot missiles before taking advantage the less North Korean deaths in a war the better for them. Another sign Trump is Desperate, Trump asks then later demands help from allies he did not bother to consult before he attacked Iran. - First he suggests - The US president said he hoped China, France, Japan and South Korea would also send ships to the passage, where a number of tankers are said to have been attacked since the US and Israel mounted their war against Iran a fortnight ago.https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cd039n9vj3vo - Trump demands ‘team effort’ for Strait of Hormuz passage Reporting from Washington, DC It appears that Donald Trump has been thinking about the plan he posted about on social media for several hours. He mentioned that countries such as France, Japan, South Korea, the UK and China – if they are going to consume the oil that passes through the Strait of Hormuz – should also defend it. Now, several hours after that initial post on Truth Social, the US president appears to be doubling down, saying countries that receive the oil must “take care of the passage”. He also suggested this should be a team effort. https://aje.news/j4onxu?update=4399185 I guess Trump did not get any response to his first post. Trump likes to put pressure on people by announcing a deal publicly before discussing it privately if that does not work he gets Mean/Desperate. If we waste all or just enough THADD and Patriot missiles on Iran then North Korea and China they will have a much easier time taking over South Korea Taiwan and Japan. Why is Trump asking China for military help with Iran? China has offered to help negotiate a peace deal with Iran and the US. Taking sides against Iran would make China seem biased toward the US and make China lose it’s credibility as a Negotiator, plus China wants Taiwan and Trump by continuing the war with Iran is serving Taiwan up on a platter. Never interrupt an enemy making a mistake. The State Dept has experts they know how Trump’s tweet sounds and what it signals to China and the world ahead of Trump’s meeting with Xi on March 31. So expect the war with Iran to go on until at least then. It is not just the missiles its the oil MAR 10 2026. Why if we are attacking Iran are we letting Iran send oil to China but we can’t get any oil sent to our allies like South Korea, Japan or Taiwan from the other Gulf States they are facing a military threat as we take away our anti Missile, Missiles from them! We have an Aircraft Carrier battle group right there to stop them! The US Congress and Media should be screaming this invites an invasion of all three countries, just how Spineless are they? We are now facing having to defend all three countries when their militaries have less or even no anti Missile, Missiles and reduced or no oil, gas, diesel for their ships, fighter planes, tanks etc. Sure we have oil, gas, diesel at our military bases in those countries but how much? Resupply from the California Texas or Venezuela would be a long trip as would getting Aircraft Carriers back to Asia assuming they were not needed in Iran. The wars could be over by then! The longer this war goes on the more we risk proving the Domino Theory was right. After the Trump, Xi meeting March 31 we will know what Trump has offered Xi in exchange for the help he is begging for in his Tweets. I expect Trump to offer an end to all tariffs on China and any other country Japan, France, UK, South Korea if they help us with Iran. I expect Trump will offer Taiwan secretly of course to China and if he is really desperate South Korea. China, Japan, France, UK, and South Korea will look at Trump’s offer on tariffs and laugh they know Trump will change his mind once he gets what he wants in a second. Teen age boys will promise anything for sex and forget those promises the next day Trump is emotionally stunted at the teenage boy level. China, Japan, France, UK, and South Korea all have Intelligence services that have created Psychological Profiles on Trump South Korea gave Trump a Gold Crown ( No Seriously ) in the hopes of avoiding tariffs on their Country because Teenage Boys like Shiny and Gold if they had Given Him Oil and a few underage Blondes their plan might have worked. ( I apologize to Teenage Boys not all or even a majority are like this) Besides Japan and South Korea need their ships and planes at home by March 31 they will likely have less anti Missile, Missiles and less fuel for their armies to keep them safe. China is already getting Taiwan and Japan if they want it the longer this war goes on they are still getting oil, ( North Korea gets oil from China and Russia) Taiwan, South Korea and Japan are not getting oil. But on the bright side China might just decide Trump created with the high oil prices from his war with Iran a huge incentive world wide for Chinese Electric cars and for poor nations Chinese Electric Bikes. Wars are expensive but getting rich is fun, saving the world from Global Warming is necessary let's hope China is sane, greedy and or Humanitarian. The Higher oil prices get the Longer oil prices are high the more demand for Electric cars and Bikes China has the most capacity to manufacture both quickly. We elected a Psychopath as Leader who only understands Transactional Relationships ( Give and Take) now we have to hope China has a a Humanitarian with Empathy who cares about others and also wants to get rich. Trump put America in this position of Weakness!

The head of the International Energy Agency stated on July 21 that escalation in Middle East hostilities affecting the Strait of Hormuz and regional energy infrastructure has heightened supply security concerns, while noting that markets retain cushioning factors including higher exports and alternative routing of Saudi and UAE crude.

He also cited threats to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait as an additional risk. Reports indicate that Houthi declarations regarding potential Red Sea port blockades and shipping attacks prompted a restrained initial market response amid ongoing mediation references by Iran.

U.S. forces struck Iranian military sites, including command centers, missile and drone facilities, and air defenses in southern and western Iran on Tuesday, following President Trump's statements on retaliation for American troop deaths. Iranian forces reportedly targeted U.

Oil prices rose nearly 2 percent amid the events, with some reports of civilian casualties from the strikes and a later denial by an official in Khorramabad that an attack had occurred there.
