Iuliia Mendel, who served as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's spokesperson from 2019 to 2021, told Fox News Digital that Zelenskyy should meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. Mendel argued that Zelenskyy's past business and political connections in the Russian capital, where she said he made his first millions, could help him negotiate a peace deal.

Two civilians were wounded

Saudi Arabia reported that King Khalid International Airport resumed operations at two terminals on Sunday, while Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis vowed to continue striking the facility, which they designated a “military target.” The airport had halted operations on October 10 following an attack claimed by the Houthis that killed 13 people.

Additionally, Saudi Arabia stated it intercepted another wave of missiles and drones on Sunday as fighting with the militant group continued.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an October 25 interview that Ukraine is prepared to meet with Russian and American teams for peace negotiations scheduled for early November. During the interview, he also discussed air defenses and a planned ceasefire in the Russian-occupied town of Oleshky.
