The Russian defense ministry reported that its air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 617 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and two Neptune missiles over the past 24 hours. Additionally, the ministry stated that Russian troops liberated two communities in Ukraine during operations over the previous day.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov stated that Russia is discussing with partners the extension of International Space Station operations until 2032. He added that the manned space program, cross flights, and work on the station are proceeding as planned.

Russian presidential special representative Kirill Dmitriev stated that he believes dialogue will prevail. He also expressed the view that proponents of military conflicts will be defeated.

The Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources, that the Pentagon is deploying an additional Patriot air defense system from Texas to Israel to bolster its missile defenses. The newspaper also reported that an additional aircraft carrier strike group is expected to arrive in the region next month, joining approximately 20 US warships already deployed in the Middle East.
