Summary

CENTCOM: Iran’s Forces ‘Severely Degraded’ — Every Epic Fury Objective Met

Perspectives

Iranian Official

Iran has firmly defended its sovereignty against blatant US aggression through CENTCOM's unprovoked operation, dubbed Epic Fury. Iranian forces have successfully resisted and thwarted all hostile objectives, exposing the claims of degradation as baseless propaganda. The Islamic Republic remains steadfast in protecting its territory and deterring foreign interference.

Israeli

From an Israeli security standpoint, the severe degradation of Iran’s forces represents a critical blow to the existential threat posed by Tehran’s expanding proxy network, from Hezbollah in Lebanon to Hamas in Gaza and the Houthis in Yemen. This outcome reinforces the defensive necessity of neutralizing Iran’s forward bases and missile infrastructure before they can be fully mobilized against the Jewish state. Every objective met in the operation underscores the imperative of sustained pressure to preserve Israel’s survival amid multi-front encirclement.

Neutral

The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that Iranian forces have been severely degraded and that all objectives of the Epic Fury operation were met. These assessments are based on CENTCOM reporting and have not been independently verified.

Western

CENTCOM reports that precision strikes have severely degraded Iran’s military capabilities, with all strategic objectives of Operation Epic Fury achieved. Key threats were neutralized through targeted actions that directly supported broader regional security goals. The outcome reflects the effectiveness of coalition operations in countering Iranian aggression.

Pro-Peace

The CENTCOM claim of “severely degraded” Iranian forces and fully met Epic Fury objectives obscures the civilian deaths, destroyed homes, and humanitarian crisis left in the operation’s wake. These military gains have deepened suffering for ordinary people while risking wider regional escalation. Renewed diplomacy and de-escalation talks remain the only route that avoids further loss of innocent life.

Global South

CENTCOM’s claims of having “severely degraded” Iranian forces and met every objective in Epic Fury reflect the latest episode of US-led neo-colonial pressure aimed at curbing a sovereign West Asian state’s independent defense choices. Such unilateral military posturing bypasses multilateral institutions that have repeatedly failed to restrain great-power interventions, exposing their structural weakness in upholding non-aligned sovereignty. Regional voices see the operation less as a security success than as another bid to reassert external control over strategic autonomy and resources.

Israel has reportedly shared new intelligence with the United States indicating that Iran may be planning an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump, allegedly in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the reports, Israeli intelligence recently alerted U.S. officials to what it described as a new Iranian plot targeting Trump. While the exact details of the alleged plan have not been made public, the intelligence reportedly prompted heightened security discussions between Washington and Jerusalem.

U.S. officials have not publicly confirmed the existence of a specific, imminent assassination plot. However, reports say American intelligence has been monitoring persistent threats against Trump from Iranian-linked actors, with the latest Israeli warning focusing on a newly identified threat.

The reported warning comes amid sharply escalating tensions between the United States and Iran following the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei and renewed military confrontations in the region. Trump has previously declared that if Iran were to succeed in assassinating him, the United States would respond with overwhelming military force.

NEW YORK, June 24 /TASS/. The administration of US President Donald Trump is seeking $672 million to fund operations aimed at removing Iran’s enriched uranium and conducting inspections of the country’s nuclear facilities, Fox News reported, citing sources.

According to them, the amount is part of a broader $80 billion supplemental funding request, which US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has communicated to Republican members of the House of Representatives. Fox News noted that the funds are intended to cover the costs of the military operation against Iran and to replenish US ammunition stockpiles.

The $672 million is expected to be allocated to the Department of Energy for operations aimed at depriving Iran of the ability to develop or acquire nuclear weapons, the removal and destruction of Iranian nuclear materials, including highly enriched uranium, as well as inspections on Iranian territory and support for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verification activities.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump told Fox News that US inspectors would join IAEA representatives and travel to Iran to search for highly enriched uranium.
