CENTCOM: Iran’s Forces ‘Severely Degraded’ — Every Epic Fury Objective Met

Summary

CENTCOM: Iran’s Forces ‘Severely Degraded’ — Every Epic Fury Objective Met

Perspectives

Iranian Official

Iran has firmly defended its sovereignty against the latest US-led aggression disguised as the "Epic Fury" operation, with its armed forces successfully thwarting foreign interference in the region. Despite CENTCOM's claims of degradation, Iran's resistance has preserved its defensive capabilities and national independence. The Islamic Republic remains steadfast in confronting external threats to its territorial integrity.

Israeli

From an Israeli security standpoint, CENTCOM’s report on the severe degradation of Iranian forces marks a key setback to Tehran’s proxy network—Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis—that encircles and directly threatens Israel’s existence. The full achievement of Epic Fury objectives underscores the defensive imperative of disrupting Iran’s forward bases and missile infrastructure before they can be used in a coordinated assault on the Jewish state. Such actions remain essential to preserving Israel’s qualitative edge against an adversary openly committed to its elimination.

Neutral

The U.S. Central Command reported that Iranian forces have been severely degraded in recent operations. CENTCOM stated that all objectives of the activity designated Epic Fury were met. These claims have not been independently confirmed.

Western

US Central Command has confirmed that Iranian forces have been severely degraded through the precise execution of Operation Epic Fury, with all designated strategic objectives achieved. The operation successfully neutralized key threats to regional stability and partner nations via targeted actions. This outcome demonstrates the effectiveness of coalition efforts in deterring aggression and restoring security.

Pro-Peace

While U.S. Central Command claims Iran’s forces were severely degraded and all Epic Fury objectives met, the strikes have inflicted heavy civilian casualties and triggered acute humanitarian crises through destroyed infrastructure and disrupted access to food, medicine, and shelter. Such military actions exact a profound human toll on non-combatants, compounding regional instability and long-term suffering. Renewed diplomatic engagement and de-escalation talks remain viable paths to resolving tensions without further loss of innocent life.

Global South

US Central Command’s declaration that Iran’s forces have been “severely degraded” through Operation Epic Fury represents yet another unilateral strike on a sovereign Global South nation’s right to independent defense and regional autonomy. Framed as mission success, the campaign reflects enduring neo-colonial patterns in which Western military institutions project power across the Middle East to secure strategic dominance and resource corridors. The episode also highlights the persistent failure of multilateral bodies to constrain such interventions or uphold non-interference norms.

Israel has reportedly shared new intelligence with the United States indicating that Iran may be planning an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump, allegedly in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the reports, Israeli intelligence recently alerted U.S. officials to what it described as a new Iranian plot targeting Trump. While the exact details of the alleged plan have not been made public, the intelligence reportedly prompted heightened security discussions between Washington and Jerusalem.

U.S. officials have not publicly confirmed the existence of a specific, imminent assassination plot. However, reports say American intelligence has been monitoring persistent threats against Trump from Iranian-linked actors, with the latest Israeli warning focusing on a newly identified threat.

The reported warning comes amid sharply escalating tensions between the United States and Iran following the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei and renewed military confrontations in the region. Trump has previously declared that if Iran were to succeed in assassinating him, the United States would respond with overwhelming military force.

NEW YORK, June 24 /TASS/. The administration of US President Donald Trump is seeking $672 million to fund operations aimed at removing Iran’s enriched uranium and conducting inspections of the country’s nuclear facilities, Fox News reported, citing sources.

According to them, the amount is part of a broader $80 billion supplemental funding request, which US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has communicated to Republican members of the House of Representatives. Fox News noted that the funds are intended to cover the costs of the military operation against Iran and to replenish US ammunition stockpiles.

The $672 million is expected to be allocated to the Department of Energy for operations aimed at depriving Iran of the ability to develop or acquire nuclear weapons, the removal and destruction of Iranian nuclear materials, including highly enriched uranium, as well as inspections on Iranian territory and support for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verification activities.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump told Fox News that US inspectors would join IAEA representatives and travel to Iran to search for highly enriched uranium.
