CENTCOM: Iran’s Forces ‘Severely Degraded’ — Every Epic Fury Objective Met

Summary

CENTCOM: Iran’s Forces ‘Severely Degraded’ — Every Epic Fury Objective Met

Perspectives

Iranian Official

Iran strongly rejects CENTCOM’s fabricated claims of degraded forces as desperate propaganda masking the failure of US-led aggression against the Islamic Republic’s sovereignty. Iranian armed forces have successfully resisted and repelled the so-called Epic Fury operation, thwarting every hostile objective through steadfast defense of national territory.

Israeli

CENTCOM reports that Iran’s forces have been severely degraded, with all Epic Fury objectives achieved, significantly weakening Tehran’s ability to direct its proxy network—Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis—against Israel. This outcome directly addresses the existential threat posed by Iran’s encirclement strategy, which seeks to destroy the Jewish state through multi-front attrition. Such degradation reinforces Israel’s imperative for preemptive defensive action to secure its survival amid an expanding axis of Iranian aggression.

Neutral

According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), Iranian forces have been severely degraded during operations associated with the Epic Fury effort. The command stated that all designated objectives were achieved. These assessments have not been independently verified.

Western

US Central Command reports that Operation Epic Fury met all strategic objectives through precision strikes that severely degraded Iranian force capabilities and neutralized key threats to regional stability. The operation effectively countered Iranian aggression and proxy activities, strengthening deterrence for US and NATO partners. This targeted campaign demonstrates the coalition's focus on minimizing escalation while protecting allied interests.

Pro-Peace

The U.S. military's claim of severely degrading Iranian forces and meeting all Epic Fury objectives masks the tragic toll on civilians, including deaths, injuries, and displacement that deepen humanitarian crises across the region. Such operations inflict long-term suffering on ordinary people while escalating cycles of violence that diplomacy and sustained negotiations could avert. Prioritizing de-escalation remains essential to protect lives and foster lasting peace.

Global South

CENTCOM’s assertion that Iranian forces were “severely degraded” and all “Epic Fury” objectives met reflects yet another instance of U.S. military projection aimed at curtailing the sovereignty of an independent Global South nation. Framed as operational success, the campaign exposes the neo-colonial pattern of selective strikes and sanctions that bypass multilateral oversight while eroding the principle of non-interference. International institutions have once again proven unable to restrain such unilateral actions, leaving regional states to navigate the resulting instability on their own terms.

Israel has reportedly shared new intelligence with the United States indicating that Iran may be planning an assassination attempt against President Donald Trump, allegedly in retaliation for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to the reports, Israeli intelligence recently alerted U.S. officials to what it described as a new Iranian plot targeting Trump. While the exact details of the alleged plan have not been made public, the intelligence reportedly prompted heightened security discussions between Washington and Jerusalem.

U.S. officials have not publicly confirmed the existence of a specific, imminent assassination plot. However, reports say American intelligence has been monitoring persistent threats against Trump from Iranian-linked actors, with the latest Israeli warning focusing on a newly identified threat.

The reported warning comes amid sharply escalating tensions between the United States and Iran following the killing of Ayatollah Khamenei and renewed military confrontations in the region. Trump has previously declared that if Iran were to succeed in assassinating him, the United States would respond with overwhelming military force.

NEW YORK, June 24 /TASS/. The administration of US President Donald Trump is seeking $672 million to fund operations aimed at removing Iran’s enriched uranium and conducting inspections of the country’s nuclear facilities, Fox News reported, citing sources.

According to them, the amount is part of a broader $80 billion supplemental funding request, which US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has communicated to Republican members of the House of Representatives. Fox News noted that the funds are intended to cover the costs of the military operation against Iran and to replenish US ammunition stockpiles.

The $672 million is expected to be allocated to the Department of Energy for operations aimed at depriving Iran of the ability to develop or acquire nuclear weapons, the removal and destruction of Iranian nuclear materials, including highly enriched uranium, as well as inspections on Iranian territory and support for International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) verification activities.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump told Fox News that US inspectors would join IAEA representatives and travel to Iran to search for highly enriched uranium.
