Libya’s National Oil Corporation reported that production at the Sharara oilfield has reduced after an armed group reportedly closed Valve No. 7 on the export pipeline to Zawiya. The NOC stated that the valve closure caused pressure buildup and warned that continued blockage could halt operations and force a declaration of force majeure.
