Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski stated on Friday, Oct. 30, during the G20 foreign ministers’ meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, that an immediate Black Sea ceasefire is necessary to secure grain shipments from Ukraine and Russia. He added that Moscow must end its war against Ukraine on fair terms before resuming energy sales to Europe, noting that restoring safe maritime trade is urgent for countries dependent on food imports, particularly in the Global South.
