The U.K. has announced the deployment of RAF Typhoon fighter jets to conduct defensive air missions in support of Saudi Arabia amid escalating Houthi attacks on Riyadh and Saudi Aramco facilities. While the Ministry of Defence stated the jets will operate in a defensive role to protect against drones and missiles, reports indicate that associated refueling support may also cover strikes on Houthi targets.
