The MS NOW television network reported, citing sources, that the US administration has informed several Persian Gulf countries to prepare for a short, intense round of strikes on Iran as soon as November 4. These sources stated the US may resume strikes the day after the midterm elections.

Additionally, Washington's allies in the Persian Gulf are reportedly attempting to de-escalate the situation due to fears of Iranian retaliation.
