U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff is reportedly set to propose direct three-way negotiations between President Trump, President Putin, and President Zelenskyy to secure a ceasefire, following talks in Oslo hosted by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

This proposed summit, which would be the first of its kind since the 2022 full-scale invasion, was announced after a period of reported tensions between Ukraine and the U.S. administration.
